Ocassionaly I like to get out and throw a spinner into a river fishing for trout.  Ocassionaly I actually catch one as well.  I’ve been trout fishing since I was a little todler.  My favorite trout fishing website is TroutJournal.com  I’ve also founded this website which happens to be why it is my favorite.  If you get a minute and enjoy fishing try it out.

I had the opportunity last summer to head up to Alaska and do some “real” fishing.  We fished for Red Salmon on the river, Halibut and Rock fish on the ocean and had a great time.  It sure is quite different pulling in large salmon then the small 1-3 pound trout I usually get in rivers and lakes.
